I began this journal to share my personal experiences as a caregiver. It is my hope and desire to develop a "community" with other caregivers to share advice, restore hope, and give encouragement. Please comment or submit a daily tip, your insight and thoughts are welcome...

Nikki you are a blessing. This day and time family members do not have the time of day for their loved ones.I work with "Dementia" residents every day and I love it, yes it is very stressful but if it is not us doing it then some would not even have a life......the smiles on their faces when I walk in,rewards me enough.....I know they look forward to seeing me.some will ask "where have you been" so I know they have missed me... Keep up the good work.....Lynn
Thanks Lynn! I have been a little stressed these last few weeks. I appreciate your encouragement and kind words. It is a blessing that you are so giving of your time. There are many people out there who need someone like you.
