Tips For Caregiver's

People with Alzheimer's disease frequently become more disoriented after dark or when waking. Leaving a night-light on in the bedroom may be helpful.

Seeking American Express Cardholders

Dear Friend,

Last week we urged you to vote for the Alzheimer's Association as one of the top 25 projects in The Members ProjectSM, a new initiative from American Express that will award up to $5 million to a project selected by cardholders. Thanks to your show of support, we have made the top 25 — and now we need your help again to continue to the top five.

Five days remain for you to use your voice: Between now and July 22 you have the opportunity to vote one more time for the CURE for ALZHEIMER'S project to be selected as one of the final five.

All votes up to this point will be erased — meaning that each project in the top 25 starts at zero. Your vote is especially critical to ensure that we advance to the next round and come one step closer to being named as the winning project.

To cast your vote visit http://donate.alz.org/site/R?i=wwqz6mlb5fkMNmjV409LBw... Users who have already registered can search for CURE for ALZHEIMER'S or Project ID 01909. You'll be directed to the project details page, where you can click "Vote for this Project" at the top of the page.

If you haven't already registered, have your American Express card number ready and go to http://donate.alz.org/site/R?i=HvC_CEq0KwtK4tik9ApmNQ... From there, you'll be asked a series of questions, and after completing them you'll be able to vote for CURE for ALZHEIMER'S.

Spread the word to make sure we make it to this all-important final round: Forward this e-mail to your family, friends and colleagues, and ask them to support our cause by voting for this project.

Time is running out — show your support for our cause and cast your vote today!

Sincerely,
Angela Geiger
National Vice President
