Remembering to be Thankful

Sometimes it is nice to steal a moment of peace from a hectic day. The morning Muddear used my bedroom as a port-o-let I found myself at my wits end. It was at that moment that I looked out the window to see the sunrise. I remember thinking..."how beautiful!"

The stress of the night before began to fade as I became thankful for the dawning of a new day.

Take time today to be thankful for the simple things. The things we so often take for granted.

Unexpected Blessings

Having the opportunity to make a dream come true for someone you love, especially a grandparent is truly a blessing from God. Take a moment to visit this link: http://extras.insidebayarea.com/multimedia/2007/0602prom/ it is the story of a young man whose grandmother was not able to attend her high school prom because she was pregnant with his father. The young man, in honor of his deceased father, decided to share the prom experience with his grandmother. Their story, which includes a slide show and narrative, deeply touched my heart. In addition, I have posted the link on the sidebar menu under "Friends & Favorites." Be blessed!
